We are not a cult nor a mutant race,
Nor are we the slaves of some evil will:
We are just your neighbors in time and space,
Who possess a much undervalued skill.
We can walk from Earth to the distant worlds,
We can fold the fabric of space and time,
We can easily understand the words
Both of human language and serpentine.
This our gift of multi-dimension sight
Is as natural as our breathing air.
We don't ask for anything but the right
To a way to breathe as we like and care.
Strangers in strange lands, we shall pass away,
We shall leave the world where we lived and grew.
We've had seen beyond, and we know the way,
But our neighbors dear, how will you come through?
We are not a cult nor a mutant race,
Nor are we the slaves of some evil will:
We are just your neighbors in time and space,
