There was a fir tree in the woods,
As pretty as you've seen;
In all the seasons of the year
She stayed vivacious green.
In all the seasons of the year

And if a blizzard in the night
Would happen to pass by,
It'd tuck her in with fluffy snow
And sing a lullaby.

Around the little fir,
And sometimes came the grumpy wolf
With silky white-grey fur.

In a one-horse open sleigh.

He said "You're just the tree I need",
And then he cut her down,

Хорошо, но...
Date: 2005-07-28 06:58 am (UTC)- не поется. Т.е., для детской песенки не годится. Или не произнести, или будет произнесено неправильно. Почему не "it covered her with..."?
